Post Leaving Certificate Courses (PLC's)

Post Leaving Certificate Courses are normally one year and two year programmes of integrated education training and work experience. Post Leaving Certificate programmes prepare participants for employment or further education/training and develop the skills needed for specific occupations. Means tested grants are available for PLC's. Post Leaving Certificate Courses also provide an alternative route to higher education in the Institute of Technology colleges. Co. Sligo VEC offers PLC Courses at Sligo College of Further Education (Ballinode College), Corran Community College, Ballymote, and North Connacht College, Tubbercurry. Courses are available in:
