RTÉ Radio 1 are recording Céilí House in Sligo on Saturday 21st April. You are invited to join Music Generation Sligo, local musicians and friends to participate in the event.

 

Performances by The Kelly Family, The Donagher-McGowan Family, Michael Rooney and Friends, Daithi Gormley and more. 

 

The event will be recorded and will be aired on RTÉ Radio 1 in May.

 

This is a Music Generation Sligo supported event.

  • William Butler Yeats was born in Dublin in 1865, but spent most of his childhood in County Sligo. He is one of Ireland's best-known poets. In December 1923, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature. He is buried in Drumcliffe, Co Sligo
