FETAC ASSESSMENTS NOVEMBER 2011
County Sligo VEC’s Adult Education Centre recently concluded its November FETAC Assessments. The total number of Portfolios presented for external authentication was 483. 
Work at levels 1,3,4,5, and 6 were presented for assessment. At Level 1, the Major Award – Certificate in General Learning – was assessed. This major award covers the following five components: Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking, Quantity & Number, and Setting Learning Goals.
At Levels 3 & 4, 14 minor awards were assessed and at Levels 5 & 6, 24 minor awards were presented for assessment. These are outlined below: Students from the following sections presented work: Back to Education Initiative, Community Education Programme, Adult Literacy & Education Centre, and from Self Financing. Well done to all connected with this assessment.
