Student Enterprise Awards National Finals
Well done to the three 2nd Year student s Aoife Connolly, Nicola Flannlley and Amy Kilgannon who represented their school and county in the Student Enterprise Awards National Finals in Croke Park Conference Centre Wednesday 18th of April. The students have set up a business to supply their fellow students with school & personal hoodies. They had to prepare a Business report and take part in an interview with three separate judges and display their product at the awards. Unfortunately the girls did not win any awards on the day but it was a great experience to take part and it is something that they will be able to take with them after school. A special thank you to the Sligo County Enterprise Board who gave the school and the students huge support during the programme. And their Business teacher Miss Byrne for all her hard work.
Let Programme
10 first years and their teacher Ms Cawley went on their third and final action packed trip to Fermanagh on the LET Programme. The students participated in various activities including Off Road Driving, Zip Lining, Rally Driving, Banana Boating and Speed Boating and enterprise training. Students also enjoyed a Gala Dinner and disco on the final night. On the last day of the trip each team presented their product to the Dragons Den. Congratulations to Cathal Finnegan and Ann-Marie Kavanagh who were members on the wining team. Congratulations to Natasha Twydell and Darragh Cull who also won awards.

Exams
Our Leaving Cert and Junior Cert students are embarking on their practical exams over the next few weeks, with Oral exams in French and Irish all ready completed. Best of luck to all students involved.

New Appointment
Congratulations to Ms. Maeve Kelly on her appointment to the position of Deputy Principal in our school. Ms Kelly has been involved in managing the JCSP Programme and Adult Education at Colaiste Iascaigh, as well as co-ordinating SEN provision within the school. We wish her all the best in her new position.

Gaa
Our first year boys participated in their second football blitz of the
year when they travelled to Sligo. They faced stiff opposition in both
Coola and Ballisodare. As always, the boys put in a great effort and
performed very well.
